GTUCCU Management informs members that a short term loan dubbed “CHRISTMAS Special” for members who receive their salaries through the Credit Union and maintain a savings account will be available this month to support them through Christmas amidst COVID -19. Those qualified to benefit from the product shall be entitled to D5000 (five thousand dalasis) payable in six months, at 10% percent, meaning total repayment will be D5, 500. This loan facility will be available from the 14th December, 2020 in all GTUCCU offices upon application and approval. Management is not bound to give the facility to every applicant because terms and conditions apply. Repayments shall commence at end of January 2020 for six consecutive months. CREDIT UNION DAY: International Credit Union (ICU) Day® has been celebrated on the third Thursday of October since 1948. The day is recognized to reflect upon the credit union movement's history and to promote its achievements.
International World Teachers day will be celebrated on 5 October 2021. In 2016, more than 6,000 teachers have taken part in the celebrations.
